  • 06:45 a.m. pick up from hotel to the dock.

  • 07:40 a.m. visit 2 small floating islands)
  • 10:45 a.m. Arrival to Llachon (peninsula of Capachica)
  • 11:00 a.m: briefing of our guide, Capachica peninsula and walking,hiking around

Llachon Village,

  • 12:30 p.m.:          Lunch at a small local restaurant. Cultural activity (dress,music,
  • 14:30 p.m.: Return to Puno

Something To Know

The peninsula of Capachica at Lake Titicaca, is located on the northern of Puno city 75 km  (1 hour and 30 minutes drive). This community has over 1,500 inhabitants spread out the peninsula and they belong to the ethnic group of Quechuas.

It takes 1:45 minutes on boat ride from Puno to Llachon and the return by bus is a good example to appreciate the highlands (altiplano).. The major economic activities on this community are farming, livestock and fishing. Just during the last 10 years these people realized that tourism can help to improve  their way of living
